Express Checkout – Remote Mobile Payment
The key to success in e-commerce is to allow the consumer to come to closure quickly. The registration process is often cumbersome and the number of steps to buy too many. Buyers are becoming more and more comfortable and they want all payments to go fast and not having to upload funds to an account. Express Checkout, where the buyer only needs to fill out a simple task, such as a mobile number, leads to increased sales and up to 40% lower drop off at the completion of purchase.

How does the Express Checkout via PayGround's Mobile Payment work?
Consumers simply needs to:

1. Fill out his/her mobile phone number at merchant´s checkout, where Express Checkout via PayGround is offered.
2. PayGround then matches, through a series lookups, the mobile phone number with the social security number, address, credit check, etc. The entire process takes place in real time.
3. The consumer chooses how he/she wants the funds to be withdrawn. 1 for Invoice or 2 for Debit/Credit Card.
4. If selecting Card, the consumer is asked to go back to the web browser and register a card of choice. This is only done once and upon registration.
5. A personal PIN-code is selected and entered on the mobile phone.
6. Purchase completed.
7. The buyer will receive a receipt by SMS. If he/she chose invoice, a separate invoice will be sent by SMS, email or by postal mail. The invoice can also be partially paid.
8. If consumers chooses invoice, the merchant will be paid the entire purchase amount (minus our fee) the day after completed purchase. PayGround takes the full credit risk!

The payment, in other words, does not end up on the usual mobile operator bill, which means even those with business subscriptions or prepaid cards can shop easy, fast and secure!

How is Express Checkout and Mobile Payment integrated in the online checkout?
We have two different APIs; Webservice (SOAP) and Hosted Integration. The choice is up to each customer, but both are very simple integrations.

Expensive?
No. We take no initiation fee or monthly fee. The transaction fee is comparable to card fees and digital wallets. We offer a fee based on your projected volumes, credit risks, tied up capital, etc.
